The regular shooting of ‘Kandireega’ directed by Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Sureshon the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions has begun recently. Though the film was formally launched on October 22, the regular shooting had begun from November 11. Initially, Hansika was selected as heroine for the movie. However, the cinematographer turned director Santosh Srinivas chose ‘Colours’ Swati as another heroine as the story requires two heroines. Sonu Sood plays a role with negative shades. A gossip made rounds that Aksha was selected as the heroine but it appears that she was replaced by Swathi. It is worth mentioning here that this is the second film in the combination of Ram and Hansika, as they both played together for ‘Maska’ earlier. The film is slated for release by summer next year.
