Mahesh, Puri new film from May

The Pokiri combo is back. Prince Mahesh Babu and Dashing director Puri Jagannadh were back together again with another new film. It is known that the duo’s Pokiri has set new record collections at the Box Office. This new film will move onto floors from May 2011 and it will be produced under RR Movie Makers.

Speaking about the film, Mahesh Babu says, “The storyline narrated by Puri created excitement in me. This movie sets new sensation in Tollywood like Pokiri.”

Director Puri Jagannath says, “Mahesh was impressed with this subject. The movie will move onto floors from May. It will become a good film in our combination again.”

RR Movie Makers Venkat says, “We are happy to produce this film under our banner. The project will be made as a prestigious one with high technical standards.”

Sudden hype for Parama Veera Chakra!



balakrishna is always a favorite hero for BO blockbusters. Given the track record, balakrishna when ever delivers a hit, it is usually going to be of highest magnitude almost washing away all the records of course same valid for flops too. Few weeks back, the talk for ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ was at the lowest ebb and audiences were almost feared away by the name of Dasari Narayana Rao attached to it. After the grand audio release with no where the presence of music director Mani Sharma is felt, there are some positive vibes in market for this movie. Watching Balayya in three to four getups and powerful dialogues from veteran Dasari, at least few are agreeing that ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ could offer a new beginning for Nandamuri heroes in 2011. Given the duration of 74 days in which entire shooting of this movie is complete, producer C. Kalyan would be a happy person, if his Guruvu Dasari offers him a good hit. Let us see, how will these positive points work in favor of ‘Parama Veera Chakra’?

King nagarjuna always loves to experiment with new characters and new stories. In recent past, he might have faced disastrous results in the name of these experiments but his enthusiasm for new kind of projects is unfazed. Long back that the final print of ‘Gaganam’ is ready for release and Dil Raju’s commercial thinking has kept Nag waiting. With commercial success of ‘Ragada’ kicking away nagarjuna’s slump period, he is quite optimistic about release of ‘Gaganam’ in this New Year. Speaking to a media channel, ‘More than commercial success of Ragada, I am looking forward for release of Gaganam. If this movie with different subject gets acceptance from audience, I will handle many more offers of these kind,’ said Nag.

Naga Chaitanya, Tamannah flick in March

It is known that Naga Chaitanya is currently doing a film with director Sukumar under the banner Geeta Arts. Bunny Vasu is producing this youthful love story. The movie which was supposed to release in the month of December was initially postponed to January but now, it was postponed again to March. The postponement is due to the strike in Tollywood.

Talking about the release date Naga Chaitanya says, “The film was initially supposed to release in December. But, due to some date issues and technical problems, it got postponed. Now, we are planning to release it in March.”

Tamannah is playing the female lead in the flick and there is a buzz that the film is titled as ‘I Love You’. However, film-makers are yet to finalize it.

Power Star 'Leg Lift' for second time



The superb pose of Power Star pawan kalyan lifting the leg in ‘Jalsa’ has become the unique icon to represent the entire movie. Thanks to Trivikram Srinivas who worked on pawan kalyan’s marital art proficiency and the output of ‘Jalsa’ is well known for writing the new BO records in the career of Power Star. After a dud ‘Komaram Puli,’ Power star Fans have kept too many hopes on the upcoming flick ‘Lovely’ (tentative title), the remake to Bollywood hit ‘Love Aaj Kal.’ One of the stills from this movie is released into market which resembles exactly the ‘Jalsa’ still and this would be the second time pawan kalyan has lifted the leg. If the so called pose of ‘Jalsa’ is treated as a sign of luck by Fans, one can expect ‘Lovely’ also to break the records as what was done by ‘Jalsa.’ Why not, Jayant C Paranji is an able director to make this happen.

Ram Charan with a different look in Merupu

Ram Charan has come up with two different looks in his last two films, Magadheera and Orange. Now, this young actor is working on yet another different makeover in his upcoming film Merupu.

It is known that Merupu is a film being made on Soccer game under the direction of Dharani. “Merupu is a tale of a spirited protagonist who counters the plans of the antagonist in a series of soccer matches,” says Ram Charan.

“Merupu showcases me with some muscles and a well- toned body since appropriate look adds dimension to the character,” adds Charan

The movie is slated for a release in the month of June.
