Prince Mahesh Babu has teamed up with country’s proudest director Mani Ratnam for a historical film. Mahesh has met the director on Sunday at Chennai for listening to the script. The Tollywood princehas liked the script and has immediately signed up the venture.
The movie is said to be a highest budgeted flick, which will be made bilingually in Tamil and Telugu. Hero Vikram is also the part of this project. The story is based on the famous Tamil historical novel Ponnian Selvam. It deals with the fortunes of the Chola Empire during the 10th century. The novel comprises of five parts in which Mani Ratnam picked eighty scenes to weave into an entertainer.
Revealing the news through twitter Mahesh tweets, "My dream is coming true finally. I will be working in a Maniratnam film. One of the happiest days of my life."
